About eLI

The creators of eLI have been in distance education in Arkansas and Louisiana for over 10 years.

Mainly working in state educational agencies, the creators of eLI have seen that an outside company, like eLI can serve the smaller schools and the home school population without the red tape and legislative hassle as educational state agencies.

eLI can help a school districts better serve their students by offering a wide array of courses without the expense of a full-time teacher. The school can then use that saved money to update technology or add-on or renovate the schools infrastructure.

eLI's mission is to deliver quality curriculum, instruction and assessment using computer-based technologies over the Internet and the world-wide-web.

eLI courses are taught in two formats:

Synchronous Courses

These courses are taught live through
the web and over the phone. Also known
as Enhanced audiographs, these courses
cover most of the subject areas of the
secondary curriculum, including AP courses.

Asynchronous Courses

eLI is offering one course, Elementary Spanish, through this method of instruction. This course can be offered at ANY TIME, ANY PLACE, and ANY PACE. There is also tutorial opportunities for students on an individual basis.

Synchronous System

telephone and by sending notes
and presentations over the web.

Students receive instructions over
the phone and can ask teacher
questions and interact. Students also
