Home Schooling
eLearning Institute (eLI) is
excited to be able to offer you internet delivered web-based
courses at the secondary level which use the Advanced
Placement (AP) format, meet the standards and frameworks
for your state, and provide solid preparation for the
ACT, the SAT and the GED.
These courses are entirely
asynchronous: any time, any place, and any pace over
the web. For a base price of only $300.00
per course, which includes
content normally associated with 180 hours of regular
instruction, you will receive curriculum,
interactive instruction, and assessment,
which you can then configure to suit your individual
needs. For an additinal cost of $75.00
per course, eLI will provide
unlimited access to docents to answer your questions
and discuss your problems via e-mail, message boards,
and chat lines. All links associated with eLI courses
have been screened to ensure that only quality materials
reach home schoolers.
In addition, eLI is now
offering home schoolers a space-available opportunity
to participate in synchronous courses offered at set
times to public, private and parochial schools. These
courses are highly innovative, over-the-net deliveries
with live mulit-point communication among participating
students and the instructor. The fee for the anticipated
spaces is $350.00
per course. ELI can also
set up a synchronous course for a group of home school
students with 15
